The tour is divided into two segments where the first two shrines Yamunotri and Gangotri are covered through surface transportation in a private taxi and the next two dham Kedarnath and Badrinath are travelled by Trek N Tales helicopter service.The unique 7 Nights 8 Days Chardham yatra is beautifully designed in order to save time and comes with a package of all surface transportation in a private taxi , helicopter yatra, shuttle ticket at Kedarnath and VIP darshan at Kedarnath & Badrinath shrine.The yatra will start from Dehradun while picking you from the airport / railway station driving through Yamunotri and Gangotri back to Guptkashi. From Guptkashi you will be flying in a helicopter for Kedarnath and Badrinath on the same day and back to Guptkashi. Departure on the next day to Dehardun through surface transportation in a private taxi from Guptkashi.The package includes accommodation and meals on breakfast and dinner basis.

Detail Itinerary of Chardham Yatra by Helicopter & Taxi (7 Night - 8 Days)

Day 01 : Dehradun - Barkot (165 kms / 8 hrs. Drive)

On arrival at Dehradun airport /railway station / pickup point, you will be greeted with a Trek N Tales escort and driven to Barkot via Mussoorie in a private taxi. En route visit Kempty fall if time permits. Check in into the hotel, rest and leisure.

Acclimatization : You reached suddenly to a high altitude, hence there will be no activities for the acclimatization . Relax your body and mind, get used to hills. Remember you have to trek the next day at Yamunotri.

2000 hrs. Dinner and overnight stay at the Hotel.

Day 02 : Barkot – Trekking to Yamunotri Temple.( 35 kms. Drive + 6 kms. Trek – one way)

0600 hrs. You will be given packed breakfast from the hotel followed by the drive to Jankichatti base point. Start trekking for Yamunotri (6kms). You can also choose options like pony, palki and doli. Please note pony/palki/doli is extra chargeable and for better price you can request Trek N Tales team for advance booking.

Attractions at Yamunotri

Yamuna Maa Temple –The pilgrims cook rice in the hot water kund to take it back home as prasad.
Surya Kund – the major hotspring which flows from the vicinity of the temple.
Divya Shila – it’s a rock pillar worshiped before entering the temple.
After bath in Jamunabai Kund’s & having “Darshan ” of pious “Yamunaji ” return to Jankichatti.

1530 hrs. Drive down to Barkot at your hotel/camp/resort
1900 hrs. Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 03 : Barkot / Uttarkashi ( 100 kms / 7 hrs. Drive)

0800 hrs. After breakfast drive to Uttarkashi. On the way you can stop over for TEA at Radi Top where you can have glimpses of beautiful himalayan ranges & further explore Shiv Gufa. (If time permits)
1400 hrs. On arrival check in at the Hotel at Uttarkashi

1700 hrs. Day is free, you can visit Uttarkashi and the famous Kashi Vishwanath Temple in the evening.

Day 04 : Uttarkashi - Gangotri - Uttarkashi (200 kms. / 7 hrs. Drive both way)

0900 hrs. After a lazy breakfast drive to Gangotri via Harsil. On arrival proceed for your pooja & darshan at Gangotri temple. On way back if time permit one can visit Gangnani for bath (Hot spring water pool)

Attractions at Harsil & Gangotri

Harsil : A small village Situated at an elevation of 2623 mtr. on the way to Gangotri is beautiful and full of scenic beauty. River Bhagirathi flowing between snow peaks of himlayan mountains gives a picturesque view of this valley.Harsil is full of apple orchards and known for its delicious apples globally today.
Gangotri Temple – The famous temple built by Gorkha General Amar Singh Thapa in the 18th century dedicated to Goddess Ganga.
Pandav Gupha: Where Pandava stayed during their Agyatvas
Submerged Shivling – As per mythology lord Shiva sat on this rock when he received river GANGA in his matted lock. The rock is submerged during summer and is only visible during the winters when water level goes down.

1300 hrs. Drive down to Uttarkashi, on arrival check in at the Hotel.
2000 hrs. Dinner & Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 05 : Uttarkashi - Guptkashi (Sitapur) (245 kms. / 08 hrs. Drive)

0700 hrs. After breakfast drive to Guptkashi/ Sitapur.
1700 hrs. On arrival check in at the hotel.
2000 hrs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 06 : Same Day - Kedarnath & Badrinath Ji Darshan – by Helicopter Ex. Guptkashi

0600 hrs. Early morning you will be driven to Helipad to board a helicopter to Kedarnath temple. Fly in shuttle helicopter for Kedarnath followed by VIP darshan.
After visiting Kedarnath, you shall fly back to Guptkashi helipad, from where you will fly to Badrinath Ji by Helicopter.
1000 hrs. Breakfast at Helipad
1045 hrs. Board helicopter for Badrinath.
1330 hrs. After the darshan of Badrinath Ji fly back to Guptkashi helipad. On arrival you shall be driven to the hotel in a private taxi.
2000 hrs. Dinner & overnight stay at the Hotel.

Note : Only Shuttle Helicopter are permitted to land at Kedarnath Temple premises as per aviation rule

Day 07 : Guptkashi / Rishikesh (165 kms / 06 hrs. Drive)

0700 hrs. Buffet breakfast will be served at the hotel.
0730 hrs. Drive to Rishikesh. Checkin to Hotel. Sightseeing at Rishikesh

Day 08 : Rishikesh - Dehradun Airport/ Railway Station. (25 kms / 01 hrs. Drive)

0730 hrs. Drive back to Dehradun airport / railway station back to your destination

● Luxury Packages Cost is applicable for a minimum of 06 paying pax travelling together with a total 450 kg. Weight.
● There will be an additional supplementary cost of 8000 INR per person if the group size is less than six people.
● Only Pony Ride is included in Yamunotri for Luxury Package .
● Luxury packages do not include Palki charges. Palki can be avail at an additional cost of 4500 INR + 5% GST Per Person.
